Belarus Exhibition of Art Works Dedicated to the Holocaust

In the exhibition hall of the town of Borisov, an exhibition of the works of artists of different nationalities, dedicated to the Holocaust, is being displayed.
According to the Jewish News Agency, with reference to the Chairman of the Jewish community of Borisov Michael Peretz, the exhibition about the Holocaust was timed to the Victory Day and opened at the Exhibition Hall on May 7.
"This is an exhibition of works by artists of different nationalities, " explained Peretz. "The exhibition has already visited many cities of Belarus and is very popular. It arrived in our town after the Museum of the Great Patriotic War in the capital."
The theme of the Holocaust is particularly important during the celebration of victory over fascism, so the exhibition aroused a genuine interest of citizens.
The exhibition was opened by a new city executive committee chairman of Borisov, Vladimir Miranovich.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Union of Belarusian Jewish Public Associations and Communities, Leonid Levin, as well as the delegation of 15 people from the city of Pinsk, many of which were the authors of the works exhibited.
