As part of the efforts of the FJC’s representatives in Georgia during the last two years to create a wide range of Jewish materials in the Georgian language, a new Jewish puppet show has been established benefiting the community’s children.
A special team of educators and experts, headed by Rabbi Meir Kozlovsky, and supported by the JHF has created the themes for the new puppet shows. Three shows have already been performed based on the themes: ‘Chanukah’, ‘Purim’ and ‘Shabbat’.
The latest show took place in one of the biggest halls in Tbilisi and was attended by over 350 children and parents, who expressed great enjoyment and enthusiasm from the new venture.
