Russian neo-Nazis convicted of anti-Semitic graffiti

Two teenage Russian neo-Nazis were found guilty of painting racist and anti-Semitic graffiti.
The court in Birobizhan gave one youth a one year suspended prison sentence and the other a two-year suspended sentence as well as a curfew, according to a July 24 report by the Sova Information-Analytical Center, reported the UCSJ: Union of Councils for Jews in the Former Soviet Union.
Very few Jews live in Birobizhan, which is located near Mongolia.
Though neo-Nazis are uncommon in the remote city, according to UCSJ, local prosecutors determined that the defendants were members of "the skinhead subculture" taking root in the city.
