Russian neo-Nazi sentenced in bombing plan

A Russian man who planned a suicide bomb attack on a local courthouse was sentenced to four years in prison.
Aleksandr Krinitsyn, described by local media as a neo-Nazi, already faces two years in prison for painting a swastika and anti-Semitic epithets on a Jewish community center in Izhevsk, Russia, a city of more than 600,000 in western Russia, according to a news release from UCSJ: Union of Councils for Jews in the Former Soviet Union.
The vandalism sentence had been suspended, but could be reinstated following the planned courthouse attack
The man allegedly had prepared a large bomb to explode at the courthouse on May 9, 2009, the one-year anniversary of his sentencing in the community center attack. The plan was uncovered when police became suspicious after he turned up at a hospital as a result of injuries sustained while preparing the bomb.
