On October 22, 2014, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress General Council Chairman, VAAD Ukraine Chairman Josef Zisels met with the Georgian Minister for Diaspora Issues Gela Dumbadze in Tbilisi.

EAJC General Council members Elena Berkovich and Guram Batiashvili were also present at the meeting. The participants discussed various aspects of Jewish life in Georgia and agreed on international cooperation between the different diasporas.
