The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress congratulates you on the holiday of Shavuot, one of the most important holidays of our people. Thousands of years ago on this day at Sinai the tribes of yesterday's slaves, receiving the Torah from God, became a Nation.
The law granted to our forefathers, saves and keeps the Jews, as one People, wherever they live and whatever hard times they are experiencing. As it was said by one of our Sages: "The Torah was given once, but the Jews obtain it at all times and in all generations."
Let the light of the Torah illuminates our lives, making us better, kinder, wiser.
