In Tel Aviv Michael Chlenov, Secretary General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) took part in the session of the Jewish Agency's Board of Trustees and in the session extended leadership of the World Zionist Organization (WZO). At the session of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Agency EAJC Secretary General participated in the work of the Commission on the Russian-speaking Jewry and the Commission on anti-Semitism.
At a meeting of the Commission on the Russian-speaking Jewry it was marked the growth of the repatriation from CIS and Western Europe. The main topic at the Commission on anti-Semitism was the opposition of the international campaign for political and economic pressure on the Jewish state (BDS, Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions). Chlenov also took part in the solemn meeting devoted to the 30th anniversary of Natan Sharansky’s arrival in Israel.
At the meeting of the extended leadership of WZO Chlenov addressed the section "Working in the Diaspora." The meeting discussed the new programs for youth involvement in community life.
As part of the events in Tel Aviv Chlenov met with Natan Sharansky, Chairman of the Jewish Agency, Solly Sachs, head of the "Mizrahi" faction in the WZO and several functionaries of the Jewish Agency and the WZO.
