Haim Ben Yakov, Deputy Secretary General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, the head of the EAJC office in Israel took part in the 16th annual International Herzliya conference.
Speaking at the "round table", held in the framework of the conference, Ben Yaacov said that non-governmental organizations play an important role in creating a positive image of the State of Israel. He stressed the need for cooperation of all forces involved in this issue.
Deputy EAJC Secretary General held a meeting with Dr. Ronen Hoffman, the newly appointed Director of the Herzliya Conference. Sides discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation between the Conference and the EAJC, in particular, a greater representation of participants from countries where Jewish communities are included in the Congress.
