On April 23, the Plenary Assembly of the World Jewish Congress opened in New York.

For the first time in the organization’s history, leaders of Jewish communities around the world were addressed by the Secretary General of the United Nations António Guterres. President of the United States Donald Trump also sent an address.

Guests of honor include UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova and the European Coordinator for Combating Antisemitism Katharina von Schnurbein.
